Horizons Language center was opened in February 2003, and it specialized from the start in teaching languages, relying on the best world curriculums from the cultural centers in Syria, to be taught via highy qualified native teachers with the help of the latest educational techniques and technologies to easily convey the info, in a highly comfortable and exciting atmosphere, under supervision from the administration of the institute.

The institute’s courses scheduling system

The institute’s policy depends on dividing the courses by schedule to systemic courses with preset starting and ending dates, and to complimentary ones opening every 2 weeks to keep the students off the waiting list of the systemic courses.
Note:
There are no differences by contents, durations, nor fees of the two courses.

The System

  • Adult courses:

    Courses last for seven weeks in the institute,3 lessons a week, with each lesson spanning over an hour and a half. The course fees include the tuition, folder, accessories, and only for English teachers it includes the books and CDs.

  • Children courses:

    • The Summer system:Course length 40 days, 22 lessons, 105 minutes each, on the basis of four lessons per week, from Monday to Thursday. Tours for children, teachers and parents are held on Saturdays.
    • The Winter system:Course length 3 months on the basis of one 3-hour-lesson every Saturday. Course fees include books and stationary for children, as well as motivational gifts.

How to Register

If this is your first course in the institute, or if you discontinued your studies at the center for more than six months, you will have to go through a new language evaluation test. The secretariat section will help you pick a suitable time for your next course.

To guarantee success in the institute’s courses:

  • Give your most during the course and the instructor shall evaluate your ability to listen and talk, and help you improve lingual abilities.
  • Your grades in the final result shouldn’t be less than 70%.
  • Participate in the class activities and respect the views and opinions of your classmates.
